Visa Interview - Spouse settlement

Post by ukvisa123 » Mon Dec 10, 2018 10:01 am

Hi,

My Husband applied for spouse settlement on 18/09/2018 and submitted biometrics on 19/09/2018. He received a call today from British High Commission asking to attend a telephone interview tomorrow. I have not received any such requests. Do HO interview both Sponsor and Applicant? or just the applicant in some cases?

Did anyone had similar experience in the past?

Thanks

Yes they can. It is very rare for a face to face interview for spouse visa but they can ask for one. Usually a case worker calls from Sheffield for clarification. Was there any aspect of your application that would make it complex?
