How to prove Knowledge of English for family visa on NARIC

Post by chykeo » Fri Apr 12, 2019 8:51 pm

Does any know how someone can prove their knowledge of English using NARIC based on the following (taken from GOV.UK https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/knowledge-of-english)

"Academic qualifications
You can prove your knowledge of English if both:

you have a degree or academic qualification that was taught or researched in English
your qualification is recognised by UK NARIC as being equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree or higher
You’ll need to provide a certificate from UK NARIC confirming this when you apply".

The information on NARIC website is confusing.

The applicant has both a transcript and degree certificate

Does the person need

Statement of Comparability https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/Individu ... ility.aspx

or

English Language Assessment https://www.naric.org.uk/naric/Individu ... sment.aspx

Please can you advise

You need both. It is the UKVI Red Route NARIC, costs about £150, same as the English test.
