FLR M - DEPENDENTS

I just completed my husband's FLR - M visa. At the very end, it summed up that he had no dependents. We have a child but she is a a British citizen. Is this why it was classed as him having no dependents as she is a BC and not included on the visa financially?

It may mean that because the dependent child is British who is exempted from any financial requirement.
