UK citizen married to US Citizen whom is bankrupt in the USA

Hi all, hoping someone can answer this for me.My partner is currently bankrupt in the USA (please no bashing this was through job loss) does a foreign bankruptcy effect a spouse Visa application? He is applicant I am sponsor. Bankruptcy is not discharged yet but payments are made weekly to it

Will not be a barrier to the Spouse visa - just make sure it is declared in the application
