Surname added with my wife name.

Dear All,
I need advice and guidelines regarding my wife’s surname. My wife has spouse visa as I am British. She got her visa one and half year ago. Her name was just given name I mean only one name no surname and same on all documents. She just added surname like my surname and change on her passport as well. Can you please give me some guidance how I change name on biometric card? I will appreciate your input and time.
