Minimum income of a spouse visa

Post by S is my life » Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:49 am

Hallo every one
I am in a real tragedy and I want help from anyone who is an expert or has information that might help solve my problem. I am an Egyptian citizen and resident in Egypt. My wife is a British citizen and lives in the United Kingdom. We married in Egypt in October 2017. After 9 months of marriage, God wanted to give me a girl My wife was working before marriage in one of the restaurants but the restaurant closed and she have no work and after the pregnancy with my child became her work anywhere else more difficult, I realized then I will not bring the rebirth of my child and I will not be bring to My wife was one of the most influential moments in anyone's life It is very difficult for us, but we supported each other and each of us in another place until the arrival of the newborn, and at this moment collapsed completely because I would strongly like to be with my wife and my child at the moment but this did not happen, in short, my wife and I suffer from the distance and not meet each other I have seen my daughter once since she was born, and now she is a year old. I have not seen her grow up laughing. She is crying. I have not seen her since she was born. I did not rejoice with her and my times with her and this hurts me very every night and every minute, my wife does not know But now I have not found work to meet the financial requirements for the husband's visa. Even if I find a job, the salary will not cover the required amount of the visa, which is 18,600 she will not be able to work full-time for having two children with them for their care and meeting their needI really want to see my daughter and my wife. I have not seen them for a year. We want stability and living together. There is no chance to live together in my country because I do not have a home, and my work does not give The salary is enough for the two children and rent an apartments

Hi,

You will may need to follow a human rights route. Your income earned in Egypt will not count towards the income requirement.

Can she work park time at least? She may need someone to act as guarantor to sponcer you. Even then, it could be refused but maybe with opportunity to appeal. It’s a long process.

If you applied for visit visa it may be refused due to strong family ties in U.K - as you may not return to Egypt.

Sorry you are in this situation, but your just a drop in a ocean.

What is the way of human rights and I have another question, even if she managed to work part-time Can we apply in this case and we do not meet the required amount full
Is there any exception to my case, knowing that my wife has a son from her ex husband who is attending school and because of that she can not visit me in my country because he can not go out of school and we want stability for our children

I am afraid but i dont think that human rights will work much for outside of UK applications. If you were in UK then may get FLRFP visa after incurring heavy expenses and struggle but right now other than she find a new job giving sufficient income of £18600 or either of you have 6 months old £62500 in savings, there is no other viable option. Also remember that British children will be exempted from financial requirement.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
