Circumstances changes after spouse visa submission

Hi, I'm about to apply spouse visa flr m extension after the initial 2.5 years flr m visa (5 years settlement) which is about to expire on second week of February 2020.

My situation, we recently had a baby delivered in my home country for that my spouse travelled to India to her mother house on october first week,and baby was delivered in 3rd week of November and we had applied and received entry clearence visa for baby which has mother visa expiry date.

Now in the spouse visa application extension form, there is a question where did the spouse have lived in the last two years, do we need consider that time period that she has gone to India for baby delivery i.e from 2 october 2019 to 20 Jan 2020 as holidays or it should be considered as period lived outside uk.

Any suggestions will be helpful.

As there is no absence limit under a spouse visa, your wife's residence in the UK would have continued while visiting her home country to give birth.

The answer would be 'Yes'. The time spent in India for your baby's birth would be viewed no differently than a spouse spending time away on holiday.

Hi,

I'm about to submit spouse visa extension application, after paying IHS fees, the application form shows to two option, one is 'standard service' and other is 'Super priority service'.

so that means FLR M extensions not eligible for 'Priority service - 5 days - 500 pounds' ?
or is there any other way to book that 'priority service'

There is no other way to book your service choice.

For spouse visa extensions [FLR(M)], the options are standard service or super priority service. The super priority service costs £800 and a decision should be received the next working day or within 2 working days for a weekend biometric appointment, which is not guaranteed and may take longer for complex cases. if i choose standard service today and paid the fees, then the decision will be made within 8 weeks time, and say if they are deciding my application in first week of march 2020, on that date my last financial year would be feb 2020. will this have an negative impact on my application.

The application is typically decided based the situation at the date of application rather than the date the application is being decided.
