Spouse Visa Ten Year Route

Hi everyone,

My wife submitted her spouse visa application before the COVID 19 shutdown of VFS global in her country. Now, until further notice, the only way she can travel to the UK is on a visa waiver granted by the home office but this will only allow her to stay for 6 months.

My question is, is it possible for her to continue the spouse visa application whilst she is in the UK on her visa waiver? Some people have commented that if you go the spouse visa 10 year route this can be done. Does anyone have details? Thanks in advance.

Maybe you referring to flrfp 10 years route which can't be applied from outside the UK and also can't be gained from UK if there are not insurmountable obstacles in moving back home. Maybe her entry be denied due to having intention of settling in UK through a pending spouse visa (settlement) application.

Spouse was already in the UK recently for 5 months as a visitor.
