Hi,

We are combining our income to show for the financial requirment.My wife was on maternity leave for 8 months.She started work in September. She did get maternity payment for 8 months from the employment. Does the maternity payment counted as a continous employment for 6 months. I cannot find anything related to this on the guideance. OR Does she needs to include last 12 months of the employment before she starts her maternity leave.

Any advice on this matter,very highly appreciated. Thank you

Her income before going on maternity leave can be counted. But if your sole income is sufficient then her income can be set aside for simplified calculations with lighter documents.

6months income pay slips and account statements prior to her maternity leave. While maternity certificate is not requested, you may add it. Employer letter to indicate other things as normal and to state when maternity leave started and when she returned back to work.
