PBS Dependents extension ( Tier2- General) while Main applicant has an application for ILR with home office

Hello All,

Request your advice for the following, The Main applicant has filled a ILR- Set(LR) application and is pending for decision, however currently holds a TIER2 General Visa valid till 2024. Mean time PBS dependents visa are expiring and hence would need to extend before the ILR decision comes. Should a PBS dependent extension be filled with the existing TIER2 general norms and if so , in case Main applicant gets ILR, can PBS dependents continue to be legally resident till the PBS dependents visa expires.

You can't apply to extend their PBS dependent visas if you have applied for ilr based on 10 years long residence.

They must apply to switch to FLR M and meet the English and financial requirements. The ilr clock will reset to zero and a new 5 year route (2 X 2.5 year visas) before they can apply for ilr.

You are already advised of this in October last year and February this year.
