Non-British child of a parent, parents or relative who are British citizens or settled in the UK

Hi All
I have ILR and am trying to bring my son who is abroad,... going through the online application it asks:

As part of your application, you must also complete the relevant appendix and provide this as part of your supporting evidence. You will be told where to submit your supporting evidence after you complete your application.
Failure to provide the relevant appendix will delay your application.

now cause my ILR was obtained this year, when I select the
"Non-british child of a parent (granted or currently applying for permission to be in the UK on or after 9 July 2012)"
this option asks me to download, complete and provide 'Appendix 2 of VAF4A: financial requirements'

is this the correct Appendix? reading through Appendix 2 looks more for a fiancee/spouse, also this appendix requires the Personal Details Form VAF4A, which then at page 21, makes you tick the correct Appendix, and there the option seems to be Appendix 1....
which is the correct Appendix? is it No 2? is it No 2 plus the Personal Details Form plus the Appendix 1 ???

I would really appreciate anybody help to comment their advice and experience... thanks

To advise further, we may have to ask a few questions.

What is the UK Immigration status of the child's other parent? And do you have sole responsibility for the child?

The other parent of the child is absent, she gave me full custody of the child like 2 years ago,
I do have sole responsability awarded by a court desicion, from one of the countries recognized by the UK

Do you have a link for this? Appendix 2 questions has been incorporated into the application form online.
