ESOL course for ILR

Post by kellybarry84 » Sun Nov 02, 2008 8:21 pm

Hi all

As part of my husband's application for ILR he has just completed an ESOL Skills for Life course. The certification details are as follows:

ESOL Skills for Life Entry Level 2 certificate (speaking & listening), with an attached letter stating "The course was delivered in a Citizenship context and used materials derived from "The citizenship materials for ESOL leaners' pack producedfor the Home Office by BIACE and LLU+"".

On the website it says you need to show the person has progressed from one level to the next - is this certificate enough? I don't know if I am being paranoid about this but am not able to sleep with worry, so any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

I know someone who sent the same Certificate & letter as yours and I am glad to tell you that he went down to the City Hall yesterday to collect his British Nationality.

I would say yes it is enough, so stop worrying and getting paranoid....... its not worth it.
