Spouse Extension Questions

Dear all,
I am sorry for jumping into this conversation but I am new to this website and this is the only way I could find how to post my question.
I am due to renew my extension application spouse dependent visa FLR and I have a few questions in mind:
1. Which types of income will you rely on to meet the financial requirement?
The answer to this is that I have cash savings that can cover the required amount. However is it permissible to add income from employment? since I do have income from part-time employment which can also be added. The reason I am asking this is that there is a note at the bottom of the page that says some incomes cannot be combined?
2. I have had a speeding ticket about three months ago and I was offered a speed awareness course to avoid the penalties? Do I need to declare these or I can say none?
I would really appreciate your help on this

Category A (employment income) and category D (cash savings) can be combined but if your cash savings alone are sufficient there is no need to combine.

suggest to search the forum but I don't think you have to declare it and even if you did it will not have a bearing on the outcome of your application.

In my spouse dependent extension application following question confuses me as to what type I need to choose:
What type of visa, leave to enter or remain, or other permission do you have to be in the UK?
one of the answers is either Family, Settlement, or other.
Not sure which one I need to select? I am suspecting it's family but still not sure it could well be other and i can write spouse dependent?
One more thing, are the statements of my first FLR still valid to be used in the extension? i mean telling the entire story over again?

answer the questions all over again, the caseworker will check if they tally with the answers given in the previous application.
