Hello everyone,

Has anyone been granted their visa using a Transferwise bank statement for the married or unmarried visa?

Many thanks,

You need a recognised bank regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and statements must show evidence of salary deposits that match payslips.

Unmarried or Married Visa Processing times: Denmark or Europe to the UK

Post by ger202120 » Mon Jan 10, 2022 9:13 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone applied recently for a married or unmarried visa from Denmark or Europe for the UK?

What has been your processed time from the time of your biometrics appointment to your email of decision?

How long did it take for you to receive your passport and documents after you received the email?

I had my biometrics appointment in late November 2021 and ive been told its been "escalated" because of timings.

thank you!

Sample of the email from TLS that your documents ready for collection?

Post by ger202120 » Mon Jan 10, 2022 9:16 pm

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have an example of the email you receive if you applied outside the UK with TLS for a settlement visa?

1. Example of email if your visa was approved

2. Example of email if your visa was rejected

Many thanks!

It can take up to 90 working days, sometime longer

The email is generic and simply tells you a decision has been made and you will be advised to collect your passport from TLS etc. It doesn't tell you if it is granted or refused.

Thank you for the reply - and what is the case if I just received an email saying my Visa was "complex"? I paid for the priority service but they emailed me 3 days before the 6 week timeframe to say it was complex and would take more time...

I've read elsewhere its just because they are behind so are taking longer than usual, but what is the timeframe I may expect here, 15 working days? another 6 weeks? (to get to the 3 months)

thanks again!

Unmarried/married visa escalated as complex

Post by ger202120 » Wed Jan 12, 2022 7:43 am

Hi everyone,

My unmarried visa has just been escalated as complex. Does anyone have any timeline examples of how long it took to receive the visa outcome/decision, after being classified as complex?

Context:

a - I applied from Denmark, and paid the priority £600+ fee for a decision in 6 weeks
b - But they emailed me 3 days before the 6 week timeframe to say it was complex and would take more time.
b - Biometrics appointment was Nov 23 2021

Many thanks, any examples or information would be very much appreciated!

Topics merged.

It can take up to 90 days, sometimes longer, as already advised.

Priority service is not a guaranteed service

If you meet all the mandatory requirements, including substantial evidence of living together in a relationship akin to marriage and the financial requirements, there shouldn't be an issue. But as you have not stated any history and how or if you meet the requirements, it is difficult for anyone on the forum to offer any advice
