Spouse Visa extension / council house

Post by M h chowdhury » Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:16 am

Hi everyone,

I am going to extend my wife's visa in few months, however I have been living with my parents in a council house and my dad is on PIP ( disability allowance) where he doesn't need to pay rent , neither I do. We live in a 3 bed room house and the tenancy contract is only for my young brother and my mum and dad. Total 5 of us in 3 bedroom which is not overcrowded. Will my fathers letter be enough for proof of accommodation? Council knows that I live with my father even though I am not on tenancy agreement. Council wont provide any letter for me. Will my fathers letter be enough? It's a bit tricky situation. Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thank you.
