Dependent spouse FLR- M Extension - long wait

Post by Jmzs » Mon Feb 28, 2022 6:30 pm

Hi Everyone,

My spouse applied for a Spouse Visa FLR- M Extension on 16-11-2021 (Application and fee ) and biometrics done on 27-11-202 (UKVCAS Croydon)

After that no news we tried to contact them earlier in January 2022, they said 8 weeks window period was not finished yet.

once we contact via telephone line after 8 weeks they said, my spouse's biometrics were not received, and UKVI sent an email as well saying biometrics needs to be done even though she provided.

Then we contacted UKVCAS, they said they received my spouse's biometrics successfully and forwarded it to UKVI they advised us to contact UKVI.

We inform the same to UKVI via email and phone.

We received an email ( 24- 01-2022 )after couple of days from UKVI saying they received biometrics there was a technical error.

After that no response to calls asking us to send letters to the Sheffield office.

we did send letters, emails, phone calls, and complaint emails, no response at all.

There is some personal emergency back home we need to travel, we contacted our local MP but received an automatic reply from him saying response time is 3- 4 weeks (backlogs due to covid)

Is there anything we can do to escalate this case further? it is very frustrating, is anyone in a similar situation,

please do share your experience,

Thank you very much
