Hello,
I am settled in UK, my spouse is in Iran, we are married. I went ahead to apply for spouse visa on GOV UK website. After filling all what's asked for, paying for NHS and Visa, the GOV UK directs us to make appointment at Tehran VFS Global. On GOV UK it specifies what documents are required for this appointment, and the only thing they require is my passport copy, my wife passport in Iran, and marriage proof.
Question...
While in visa application on GOV website, it asked us 'if at later point we require other proof proof (probably of wedding, whatsapp messages, meetings, english test, payslips we may request it at later date'). So basically I just included what they asked for, which is very minimal it seems, is this normal, will there be some kind of 'next step' at some point? Because UK GOV only requested documents as I've highlighted and I am slightly worried they might come back saying it's declined? But maybe the process is not clearly explained, so I just included what they asked of me.
