English requirement

Post by Summer 20 » Sat Aug 05, 2023 9:11 am

Hi, I am currently on the ILR (M) route. I am about to apply for extension for another 2.5 years. I am currently a student in Uni, I have a level three diploma qualification ( 2022) in nursing and midwifery from Manchester college.Also I work as a bank staff in the NHS ( NHSprofessionals) as a healthcare support worker. My questions are;

Do I still need to do an English test?
Do I need to pay the IHS fee or am I exempt?

Thank you in advance

Yes you need to submit an English test at minimum A2 level. A diploma is not sufficient.

You need to pay ihs. You could possibly claim back some, see link below.
