FLR(M) to ILR Process

Post by inderjeet101 » Mon Aug 07, 2023 12:26 pm

Hi All,

I have some queries regarding the transition from FLR(M) to ILR basis a UK spouse VISA.

1. I arrived in the UK on Spouse Visa initially on 17th May 2019. My BRP mentions an expiry date of 23/08/2024. As per the 5-year rule for ILR. I should be eligible to apply 28 days prior to my arrival date or the BRP expiry date.
2. Can you please guide me to a discussion/forum where I can understand the entire process of FLR(M) to ILR? Specifically, the documents needed, timelines etc.

Thanks in Advance

Your Eligibility to apply is from 28day from completing 60months/5years since entering UK on initial spouse visa till the expiration of your current leave.
