Online Bank Statements

Post by darrens19 » Tue Jan 30, 2024 3:56 am

We are applying for a family visa but we currently live and work outside the UK. We are goin cash route and have my savings held in a UK bank. I have access to online statements, but have no way of getting these stamped in a branch as I am not in the UK. My Bank have told me that there is no difference between the online statements and those which are posted.

Has anyone else ever been in a similar position, and were the online ones accepted? If not how can I work around this?

Thanks inn Advance

Online vank statements in the manner stated by your bank are accepted and it is the normal now for application. You need not find a way around it, forum is replete with this.

Thank you for your response,

But it clearly states that online statements need to be accompanied with either a letter, or be stamped.

So I'm looking to see if anyone has made a succesful application without doing this, or can confirm 100% that what you say is accurate.

Have you tried reading other peoples threads on this forum. You've been told that this is standard practice and has been for many years. You're welcome to go to your bank and get copies stamped and notarised, if that would make you sleep better.
If you take your time and read other topics then you can make an informed decision yourself. Every topic you read, you'll find that everyone did the same.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

The forum is replete with these. Read through. Online PDF statements, no chomp from bank is the norm now.
