COA still not received, need passport, what should I do?

Post by Swan » Sat Feb 21, 2009 5:16 pm

Dear all,
I am still waiting for my and my fiance's COA (mine sent in october!, his sent 2nd Feb after request of further docs ..ect)...details of this in a previous post

My issue now is, i am due to apply for settlement under the 10 years rule, i booked an appointment for same day service for this coming friday (at the time when i booked it, i thought my passport would have come back by then, i never thought they will take so longgg!)

should i cancel the appointment because I haven't received my passport yet? and when should I do that, the day before?
has anyone cancelled their appointment before?
can I call the HO and ask about my passport and if they think they will process the COA before my appointment?
I don't know what to do :(
