Nervous about 2.5 ext

Hi guys just about the time to extend my wifes spouse visa after 2.5 years i wanted to do it myself rather than use a solictor to avoid to high cost i am pretty pc competent just want to double-check what documents I need to upload.

I’ve been working for the same employer for the past 6 months, and my partner and I will be applying under Category A (combined income) to meet the financial requirement.

One small issue — my May bank statement only covers the second half of the month,its the first statement of 6 but it does show my salary being paid in. I have full statements for all the other months.

What documents (for financial, relationship, and accommodation evidence).
Which documents are mandatory versus recommended extras that helped strengthen the application.
Any common mistakes or missing items that cause delays
