Dependent Visa want ot bring Parents

HI,

IAm on work permit dependent visa and i would like to bring my parents on a visit visa. Iam working here.Can i send my documents and bring my parents for a visit visa.Please let me know.As someone told me because iam on dependent visa i cannot send my documents..
