Non-EU Spouse (USA) of UK Citizen--Can I work in the EU?

My husband is a UK citizen and I am American. We are currently in the US, but would like to settle in an EU country next year, but I'd like to be prepared. The UK would be easy enough, but how difficult will it be for me to join him in Germany, or Czech Republic, or Spain?

Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
