CoA Application - Unclear wording, please advise

I am a US citizen and my fiancé is a UK citizen, and I'm filling out the form for CoA. I have Tier 1 (Post-study work) until October 2010, and we're planning on marrying before that, so there is no issue with that.

My issue is with questions 2.10-12 on the CoA form. For example, 2.10 asks of the proposed fiancé "If he or she is subject to immigration control, is he or she also applying for a COA?"

Do I just leave this blank as, being a British citizen, he is not subject to immigration control? Or do I put no as he is not applying for a CoA? If I put no it seems that I'm agreeing with the premise that he is subject to immigration control, but I don't want to get rejected for leaving a question blank. 2.11 and 2.12 are similarly worded.

Can anyone advise on what I should do here? Thanks in advance.

I presume 2.10 should be a no as you husband is not applying for COA.

2.11 Should be no as well,except if you husband was born after 1983 as stated, and you will be providing additional evidence if he doesn't have ILR or a British passport to establish his nationality. If that is the case, you will have to put yes and provide the documents requested on the note.

2.12 Should be a no as it doesn't apply to you.
