Disability a problem?

Post by bokkie7975sa » Wed Sep 23, 2009 4:49 am

Hi, hope someone can help.
I am UK citizen, hubby is South African, both resident in SA.
He is disabled and hasn't been able to work for the past two years, will that be a problem when we apply for a spouse visa for him? i.e. no income for him, no payslips etc.
Also, he applied for a fiance visa 2 1/2 yrs ago which was refused on : Eco didn't believe we had met, had an ongoing relationship, that I could support him, that my home was big enough. (you guessed it, not enough proof, not enough home work)We could have appealed and possibly won but as his health had taken a turn for the worst at that point, I decided not to wait for appeal and went to SA to him. Will that rejection be held against us?

Friend is planning to invite us to live in his home rent free as house-sitters while he is abroad for 6 months, will this be acceptable to meet the accomodation requirement?
thanx in advance,
L

Rejection shouldn't be held against him if he can satisfy the rules.
