I've seen information online that a "housing inspection for entry clearance" is the only definitive "proof" that the ECO will accept... my council did this for free so it's not worth taking the risk on not doing itboulevardofbrokendreams wrote:In my oppinion I think that the report would be unneccessary, but I'm not a professional.c4551m wrote:Thnks for your reply,
So its not important to have council report, will that effect the application?
Thnks
In my opinion it would be where at least 2 or more unrelated people live under the same roof but share the bathroom(s) even though they may have their own rooms. I would class that as sharing.wow very useful information Batley. What exactly is considered sharing? For example if students live in a house consisting of lets say 4 self contained flats, would this still be considered a shared student house?
Ok.Well the tenancy agreement is on my name and I rented out one of the room to my friend. As its 3 bed property , I have 2 rooms for my use. So what would you suggest me to do now. Me getting abit confused.

Accommodation documents:
1.Landlord permission letter
2.Property Inspection report. i.You can get from your local council or you can contact some estate agent for upto 50 pounds. But I would advice must include this as for evidence property is good for accommodation.
3.Council Tax Bill...If you are students then visit your council with your college letter.they would send you council tax bill in 2 weeks times.
4.If you have election electrol then add this as well
5.Tenancy agreement. On single name is better. If on joint name then add letter from other person as well saying he has no objection.
6.If you have utility bills then add these as well.
7.Take whole house pictures and include with your application.
Hope answer your question
