Hi I have taken and passed FCE and CPE over 5 years ago, obviously not for the purpose of FLR(M) but for myself, academic needs etc..
These tests are listed as acceptable by the border agency, but what confuses me is that in the documents section it says you need to provide you have undertaken an English language test for purpose of FLR
"Have you passed an acceptable English language test provided by a test provider approved by the UK Border Agency for this purpose"
Do you think it will be a problem I have passed these tests in 2002 and 2005 respectively, with other purposes in mind?
Or will they not give back my diploma because I would not be able to use it for any other purpose? (they are life-long diplomas, so I could live without the FCE, but CPE is useful, I want to keep it)
---
edit: on the other hand it might mean that the test has been approved for this purpose, and not that you need to take another test specially for this purpose...
goddamn ambiguity, but after so much applying and reapplying for such things, no wonder I am a bit paranoid...
