Visa for widow of UK Citizen

Hi,
My mother married a UK citizen. She is a US Citizen. Her husband passed away 2 months ago after being married in the USA. For 7 years.

My mother decided she wants to move to the uk. Is it possible for her to get a spouse visa as a widow?
