Passport for Kid

Hi Guys,

Currently I am in India and I will be travelling to UK on 30-Jul-2011.
I have applied a passport for my daughter and got the appointment date as 09-Aug-2011. I will be in UK at that time. What would be procedure to get the passport for my kid in India when I am in UK?
