Hi everyone
Dont know where to start, but my wife is about to apply for a settlement visa, and I was hoping for some advice as to what I can do to in between the time she applies for the visa, and the time she receives it.
I'm currently employed full time in a very well paid job, however, I despise my job, and I've only stayed on because I thought it would be best to wait until my wife applies for the settlement visa.
I have thought at great length of going to visit my wife as soon as she applies for the visa, as I'm under the assumption that proof of employment only needs to be show at time of application, and any circumstances can occur between time of application and decision that could result in a sponsor being out of work, and surely the sponsor can't be made accountable for that.
Basically, can I leave my job and go and stay with my wife during the time of her application?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
