Does this sound promising?

Post by stickman » Tue Oct 04, 2011 7:37 pm

Handed in UK Fiancee Visa Application last Thursday

Recieved a call (as the sponsor) from the ECO yesterday asking me to confirm my sponsorship and also asking me what our plans are once my fiancee and I are married in the UK

I asked if our application was favourable and the ECO replied that it appeared to be a very "sound" application

A package (passport) was picked up by delivery company today from the UK embassy and my Fiancee should recieve tomm. However no email confirmation received from the ECO...

Any thoughts?? I don't know what to think!

I will answer my own question :D

Yes it was indeed promising - we received the visa the next day. The whole process took just 3 days in total - applied Friday, visa received on Tuesday!

This was through the UK Embassy in Madrid.

Now for the spouse visa (after we are married in Jan)!!!
