English language requirement for a Fiancee visa

Hi everyone,

I've searched for this but haven't found anything so apologies if it's already been answered somewhere.

I'm trying to organise everything with a view to applying for a Fiancee visa for my Ecuadorian girlfriend (she will of course need to say Yes first!), but just wanted to clear something up with regard to the English language requirement of the UKBA.

Am I right in thinking it is the same requirement as for spouses and unmarried partners, i.e. only the speaking and listening results to Level A1, or is the requirement different for the fiancee visa?
