QudratullahKader wrote:Hi guys !

I am little concerned and worrying as at the time of my online visa application I provided my wife's email address wrong (who's my sponsor) by mistake, now my question is
1) if my visa application are being processed will they email my wife (who's my sponsor) or me to my email address and
2) if the ukvi or bhc ever wanted any additional information or documents will they contact my wife email address (who's my sponsor) or me the applicant

Kind answer is much appreciated :)
...ok! They will use the email address that is on the application form which you filled in online. They surely ask you twice to verify your email address.. Hope this helps.

Ive noticed we did our applications more or less the same time :)
Yes bro I submitted in Lahore please do dua for me I so worried and confused
MAy Allah grant you and your spouse success. I got a email today from UKVI saying a decision was made on the 10th of December but yet they have not contacted my wife. Im a bit annoyed because we paid for the Premium lounge at Mirpur, so would have expected them to text her to keep her updated, but it was only when I emailed UKVI that they told me it was decided on 10th December. What avenues can I take, because I am worried that they may not contact her for her passport collection and it could expire?

That's normal. You will get an official email only when Gerry's have processed the application, and they will text for collection. The premium lounge is a useless service, nobody should use it. However, there is some sort of priority service now that costs around £360.

Thanks for your reply, they are a bit slow then aren't they, I have recieved my Sheffield documents already.

Yeah it is useless, they didnt contact us, or anything, when it clearly says, that wife will be updated through out with SMS.

I pray your visa case is a success very soon in sha Allah

Salaam brothers and sisters, just a quick question , my visa application was made on 5th Nov 2015 with 8 wage slips with well above required income, I have found another job now with higher wage which I have now taken, and will be starting new job 4th Jan 2016 my case has not been assessed yet, and may be assessed around mid January, when ECO check on job status , I will not be in that job and will be in new job with new location , I and the was wondering will it effect the decision.
Can anyone shed some info , will be very appreciated, and good luck and duas to all those applying for their spouses

W/salam I think you will be okay, I'm sure if they ring your employer they will advise that you have left that employment. They will be able to check with HMRC to see your tax contributions and figure out that you've go a higher paying job I think.

Hi Guys,

So I am literally towards the end, waiting so eagerly and stressed as you can imagine. Sent home office an email for a status update and they replied;

" application is still under process. 12 weeks not yet passed - Sheffield

I'm assuming the 21'st marks the end date for the waiting period which is next Monday but worried due to Christ mas coming the response is going to be delayed :( Do they

Online: 22/09/2015
Biometrics: 29/09/2015 Lahore
Received at Sheffield: 01/10/2015
Status update 17/10/2015: " application is still under process. 12 weeks not yet passed

Anyone know how long it could possibly take now? :(

Thank you
