I think after escalation it takes up to 15 days to hear back from them.

Hi. I just need some advice with what I should do next...

I applied for a Spouse settlement visa for my wife [Priority on 09-03-2018]. Today is 60 working days [88 days on total], I have already had my phone interview on 19-04-2018 [which went well]. But I have not had a decision since the interview. I have contacted UKVI via email twice and on call once during May to escalate my case but they have told me to wait because even some priority cases take 3 months, they have not asked for any more documents.

I have clean immigration history, same for my wife. This is our first application and I meet the minimum salary requirements, working with current employer for 1 year and 6 months.

Should I contact them again on call again and directly ask them why its taking so long since the interview was nearly 2 months ago?

My timeline is below.

Application Submitted Online: 09/03/2018 [Priority for Wife]

Biometrics & Passport Submission (Date & Date): 12/03/2018. Mirpur, Pakistan.

Supporting Documents Sent To Sheffield: 12/03/2018

Supporting Documents Received At Sheffield: 15/03/2018)

Supporting Documents Received Back From Sheffield: - 17/04/2018

Employer Contacted By UKVI (if applicable): - 18/04/2018

Sponsor Contacted By UKVI (if applicable): - 19/04/2018

Thank you

Tbh i have called them again and they go they cant even guarantee escalation; its just a process they complete once the priorty 30 working days are up; and calling them costs about £15 quid ive already spent about £70 on calls to ukvi and still didnt get a response aswell as also giving priorty wasnt worth it either cause didnt get a response in the given 30 working days

So Nabeela, how many working days has it been for you then? When did you apply etc? Have you had your documents sent back to you? I've done priority too, but I'm currently on 20 working days today and I've had no acknowledgement or had my doc's sent back to me.

Try contacting your mp. This morning I received a email from contact centre stating my application is still being considered awaiting decision and if I do not hear from them on the 13/06/17 I should contact them again because they escalate it on the 23/05/18. I’m just thinking to contact my mp I’m tired of calling them.

Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to know when you sent your documents to sheffield did you stated on the envelope it's a "Priority"? Because my documents was sent by my solicitor to sheffield and I asked him did you write Priority on the envelope he said he didn't and doesn't matter ECO will know it when they process the application. Today I went to VFS global website and read the guidelines its says" when you send your documents to sheffield and If you have paid for the priority fee this should be clearly labelled on the envelope addressed to UKVI, stating the word “priority” at the side of the GWF number". I'm thinking because mine is not stated as Priority ECO must have left as unopened in chronological order thought as normal application?. Today I called UK Visa centre they said nothing has decided yet I have to wait 30 working days before they can escalate it. Mine is 25 working days now since biometric has given. No phone call to me or employer or returned the documents.

I did wrote priority on the outside of envelope but also inside the package I enclosed priority receipt. My documents was return on the 19/05/18 I applied 27/04/18 and documents was sent to Sheffield 3/05/18. Me or my employer haven’t received any phone calls and I’m waiting for 27 days now. Sometimes they return documents after decision is made, if you do not hear from them within now and the next 5 working days which will be 30 working days then you can contact them for escalation.

Yes im waiting until next week and if not i will contact mp; its so stressing

Yeh I will contact them next week on Friday which will be mine 30 working days, also I received an email today, few hours later after I spoken to Contact centre. that email is an automated reply. Stating .......

" Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer........... If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications others but may still take 12 weeks to conclude if we require further time to consider the application. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed"
