You don't qualify for long residence ILR until may 2024, not next year.

If you have no single absence of 180 days or more and no absence in the whole 10 years of 540 or more, you will qualify for ILR.

Thank you so much CR001.
I was worried about my exit day on the last day of valid leave “table; in red”, and return on tourist visa period.

I have a few more questions.

Q1) If I apply on the 30 of April 2024 (-28 days “May 27”), can I use super-priority service or the 28 days role to stick to standard service?
Q2) If anything goes wrong with the Set(LR) application, like if it gets delayed to be processed then rejected for whatever reason, would I still have the opportunity to apply for spouse visa extension?
Q3) If everything goes well with Set(LR) application, and my spouse is BC, can I apply for neutralisation straight away?

Thank you.

it means you cannot use your temporary visa periods as part of the 10 years. Short term student visas or tourist visa periods are now excluded
Any periods of time with leave in any of the following, are not ‘lawful residence’ for the purposes of long residence and will break continuous residence:

•any category of visitor granted under ‘Appendix V: Visitor’ of the Immigration Rules

•short-term student granted under ‘Appendix Short-term Student’ of the Immigration Rules

•seasonal worker granted under ‘Appendix Temporary work – Seasonal Worker’ of the Immigration Rules

spouse visa extension

Post by musksadi » Sun May 19, 2024 10:40 am

Hi everyone,

My spouse visa extension is just around the corner, i had been a sponsored student till Nov 2023 when I graduated. Unfortunately, I had a serious surgery and couldn't work, started working in late Jan and i have been struggling to recover, and started earning 1550 a month from April 2024, I really do not know what is going to happen. My partner trades online and earns about 1000 for the last two months. My immigration history is outlined here viewtopic.php?t=337873

I need your advice, please.
Thank you so much.

If you don't meet the financial requirements, which you don't appear to meet, you will be put on the 10 year FLR(FP) Partner route.
