British Passport for the Child - Outside UK

Dear Moderators and Gurus,

Can I apply First British Passport for my child, who is 2 yrs old, from outside UK. Currently I hold ILR and child is already registered as a BC and the basis of Section 1(3).

I did not include my child while applying for ILR, hence he has no visa.

As the travel to back home is quite in urgency, therefore I dont have time to apply for his passport from inside the UK.

Please let me know if the above scenario is possible.

Yes you can, but it could take a few weeks if applying abroad where if you apply in the UK, you have the fast track service (3-4 days)
