Hi,

Applying for naturalisation in June and would be grateful if someone could advise about the referees suitability:

* Friend i have known for 4 years, holds BC and engineer
* Friend i have known for 5 years, holds BC and engineer
* Which form to be used for self and spouse.

Please advise.

The form to use is Form AN. Each applicants to complete their own form, there is no 'dependent of' application for naturalisation and each applicant must qualify and meet the standard requirements, ie 5 years residence (or 3 years if married to a British Citizen), absence limits, good character etc.

Referees should have known each applicant for at least 3 years and one must be a professional of any nationality and the other must be over 25 and a British Citizen.
