Clarification for secondment for businees visit

Hi

I need clarification on secondment.

I went to US for aound one month from India on official visit with B1(businees) Visa.

I was paid allowances in cash to meet my expenditure in US. No Salary was paid in US.

Will it be considered as secondment? Do I need to tick the check box in HSMP application that I was on secondment??
