Appendix 2 VAF4A Form Question 3.11

Post by zein_eid2014 » Fri Jul 11, 2014 6:06 am

Hi,

I would like to ask a question about Question 3.11 of Appendix 2 VAF4A. It asks "what is your sponsor's annual income from this employment before tax?"

What figure do i show?

The amount of money i would earn based on my contracted hours?
The amount of money earned based on my P60? or
The amount of money earned from the past 12 months based on payslips (i.e contracted hours plus any over time)?

What Im not sure about how I should calculate the figure for this question.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards.

Thanks Amber for your reply. Thats what i mean by employer letter. The letter is showing 56 hours per week multiplied by 52 weeks multiplied by £8.12 this figure is 23,645.44. Note, from next month the hourly rate will increase to £8.36 so which figure do i calculate? £8.12 or £8.36?

Also one more question, i know we have to support P60 (its showing £23,600) and last 6 months pay slips. In the last 6 payslips my highest payslip shows £2,630 gross and lowest one shows £1,502. I need to show an income of £22,400 to support wife and child. My question is, how do they calculate it and do you think im earning enough to support this application. What do you advice? Im planing to apply in the coming week.

Your help will be greatly appreciated

Regards Zein
