Applying for Spouse Visa - Some Questions

Hi Gurus,

I have a query on spouse visa and I hope you guys can help me with this:

- I'm an Indian origin, I came to the UK on Tier 2 ICT Visa five years ago and I got my PR in April this year
- I'm getting married this month in India
- My fiancee is a BE graduate and is currently working for an IT firm in India and she's going to resign her job right after the marriage

After marriage I would like to bring my wife to the UK in Spouse Visa category. However, after nearly spending 6 hours online I'm totally confused now as to what I should be doing to apply for spouse Visa from within India. I'm also not very clear about the list of documents required.

- Does me being a PR make any difference here?
- Does she need to take up any english language test?
- When I apply for a Spouse visa, can I apply for an unlimited period?
- Is there any other option apart from Spouse Visa for her in this case? like dependent Visa, Visitor visa etc?
- What are the documents required for Spouse Visa?
