Extension or ILR

Post by rknshree26 » Mon Jul 28, 2014 4:05 pm

Hi,

Having read that the extension is now closing in April 2015.
I need your suggestion . here are my circumstances

First Tier 1 Visa stamp date 1 May 2010 ( valid for 2 years)
First Entry to the UK - 19 July 2010 ( 80 days , which is within the 90 days concession period)

First extension - 15 June 2012. ( postal application took time, hence the date, upto 15 June 2015 )

Looking forward to apply in April Last week 2015 for ILR.

Do you think I should be okay with the 90 day concession period and now worry about another extension ?

The rules are there to let you know that you are fine. If it's in the rules, it's fine!

Thanks for the reply.
I am pretty sure its a rule, although the rule is not very strongly documented, it uses words like "may be counted" and "at discretion of the case worker" .
I was concerned after reading some rejection due to this rule and am looking for some experiences were people have used it in their application.
