Switching from Tier 1 General to ILR and dependent extension

Post by gulbali101 » Sun Jun 01, 2014 12:15 am

Dear friends,
Currently I am on Tier 1 General and now eligible to apply for ILR but my wife came from abroad and is on Tier 1 General dependent since October 2013.
I'll be sending my application for ILR soon but I want to apply for my wife as well at the same time but I am not sure what category can she apply under. Would she need to apply as Tier 1 General dependent, spouse Visa or ILR and what application form will be needed for her.
I am stuck and not sure what to do. I spoke with different people and everybody have different information.
Could some one advice ASAP please ?

Thank you, Gul

Hi All,

My question is same as the stated however there is a slightly tenure difference. I am due to apply for my ILR (via Tier 1 General - 5 Years ) on 27th July. My wife is on Tier 1 Dependant and she arrived in UK on 5th March, 2012. In July 2012 Me and My wife had an extention for Tier 1 General.

Now, In July 2014 she would have had her 2 years UK living, so whether I can apply her with my ILR ( VIA PEO) as an dependent or do I need to submit her form as FLR(M).

Kind Regards
MAK

Can she apply FLR (M) at the same time as my application via PEO?
