Update on my case

Hi All,
I thought it'd be good to share my case update thus far and see if anyone could provide any insights. My docs were received by H.O. on July 1 and the last I called them a week back I was told that the case-worker is verifying a few details and waiting for the necessary information. He'd get back to the case on Aug 28th. I asked my office HR if anyone has called up but nobody had. This happens to be my 2nd attempt at HSMP. [It got rejected the first time since the case-worker was unable to correlate the relationship between my bank statement and salary slips and I had not provided the employer certified cheque numbers. As new evidence is not allowed, I chose to apply a second time, this time backing my data with income tax forms.]
I'd be grateful if anyone could provide some insights on 2nd time HSMP attempts and the average time it takes to get the permit.
