shengen visa

Hello everyone,

I have an uk eea family entry permit and i am presently living in the uk with my spous who is an eea national.

I want to apply for a shengen visa. I want to know if with my UK entry clearance i am allowed to apply for a visa?

Does anyone have a idea or did this himself?
