Clarification Reqd for EC

Hi,

My HSMP application has been approved on 31/07/2007. I had claimed 20 points under the age category.

I plan to apply for EC around mid September. My b'day falls on 25/Aug and therefore want to know is there any requirement that I shud be in the same age category as per initial application or I can apply at any time within 6 months from the date of approval letter(31/07/2007)

Please let me know.

Hi,

No issue with that they just check whether your claimed points on the day you got your approval fits or not.

Hi,

Even i have a similar query! Hope you could help me with this.

I got my HSMP approved on June 6th which is my birth date as well. I had claimed 20 points as when the application was sent in the last week of May.

I would like to know during EC whether my application will still be valid. The way I understand, HSMP takes into consideration when they actually receive the application nor when they process it or make a decision. I hope even EC thinks of the same cuz we are not sure how long HSMP team may take processing the same.
