Family Members VISA for Tier 2 ICT Long term Staff

Hello There,

I am currently working in UK on Tier 2 ICT Long term since Jan 2013. My VISA is valid till Aug 2015.
My father and mother have traveled last year as a General Visitor from June 2013 to Dec 2013 (just less than 180 days).

My current VISA may get extended till Aug 2016 and I would like to call my parents from Jan 2015 to Aug 2016.
Is it possible for them (parents) to travel for more than 180 days/year in any case?

On what visa? A visitor visa??

I don't see how you would do this as they would then not be classed as 'visitors' would they as they would effectively be 'living' in the UK.

Dependents are husband/wife and children under 18, so that would exclude your parents.

You are correct. There is no way to bring parents as PBS dependents.
