ILR

Post by parcha0780 » Thu Nov 20, 2014 8:35 am

Hi

I am due to submit ILR, my present Tier 1 is expiring on 30Jan 2015.
I have a new born for which I am planning to apply for the indian passport ( appointment on 10th Dec). I am not sure when I will get her passport ( Website says four to six weeks). We are also planning to go to India in Jan end.
My question is,
Can myself and my wife apply for ILR first ( Premier service) and then once we get the visa we can apply for my child separately. Meantime we might get her passport as well.

Please advice

Thanks

ILR application for child born in UK

Post by parcha0780 » Mon Dec 01, 2014 11:13 am

Hello

I am due for ILR application next week. I cannot include my new born child on the application as I am waiting for her Indian passport.

1) Can I submit her separate application for dependent ILR once I got my and my wife's ILR ?

2 ) If yes then which form I need to fill ?

3 ) Is there any residence period for child before they get eligible for ILR ?

Thanks

If the child was born in the UK, you can register your child as British once you obtain ILR.

Are you and your spouse planning to apply for citizenship in the future??
