ILR APPROVED CROYDON 05 NOV 2014

Post by david1955 » Wed Nov 05, 2014 5:03 pm

Hello Everyone,
Finally with god grace, My ILR has been approved today along with my wife . The whole process took about 2 hours from entering to exiting the building. Everyone was very nice.
Entered building at 9am (appointment was for 09:35 AM)
Went through airport style security check
Case registration at 09:15
went for biometrics straight after the registration
Biometrics done by 09:35 and was told decision would take around 90 minutes
Exact at 11 am, my token number appeared on the screen to collect the documents

And then those magic words everyone would like to hear " YOUR ILR HAS BEEN APPROVED and YOUR BIOMETRICS WILL BE WITH YOU WITHIN 7 TO 10 DAYS"

Dear All,

I have a question on the bank statement - I have online bank statement which i can print using a color printer and it bears my name; account number; the date of the statement; the financial institution’s name and logo.

Do I still need to get all these statements signed / attested by my Bank? I have requested the hard copy of the statement but I have been told by my bank that they will essentially do the same i.e. print the online copy using a color printer.

I have my appointment next week and not sure what to do next.

Thanks a lot

Thanks Canon123, My bank (citibank) has branches only in London which means i need to take half a day off and visit London next week to get them signed. I noticed the following statement from SET O guidance notes and it appears that sign from bank is required

An electronic bank or building society statement from an online account, but it must contain all of the details listed above. You must also provide either: a supporting letter from their bank or building society, on company headed paper, confirming the statement provided is authentic, or an electronic bank or building society statement bearing the official stamp of the bank or building society on every page;
