Set (M) PEO appointment dilemma

Hi ,
I have my window appointment later this month for set(M) given my wife is British . We got married just under three before but got my 2 year spouse visa after a year.. Now ,me and my wife had some problems over some time and started living separately after 1 year of marriage .. I do visit her at times trying to resolve our differences but have not succeeded completely .. She is willing to come with me for my window appointment so that I can get my ILR ..we still have the same adress and joint accounts n bills etc .i also have all the required documentation .. . But I am worried about few things
1.. During window appointments they do take separate interviews of husband and wife , will there not be a problem as we are not living together for the last two years ..??
2.. Is it safe to tell the truth that we are not living together at the moment ??
3. If not , what sort of questions I should be prepared for ??

On this point alone you would fail the 'subsisting marriage' criteria for ILR on SET(M).

They have means to check details and can hold your application to do further checks if they feel necessary.
